Crower 403 Install
I'm interested in putting Crower 403 cams in my '95 Teg LS. Can someone please let me know:
-Everything I need to put these in my car,
-How much will a shop charge for installation,
-How much the complete deal will end up costing, and
-Are the gains worth the money?
Thanks guys,
Ben

Cams, springs, and retainers, some say the 403s are ok without them as long as you keep stock redline.
I would guess a shop would charge around 100 bucks for the install give or take. For everything cams+install I would guess around 400-500 depends on what kind of deal you are getting on the cams. Crowers site has them for 400, but I've seen them for cheaper. Springs, retainers, cams + install closer to 700-800. Crower has them for 325 I believe.
I think the gains are worth it, the cams open up the top end which the ls needs. It depends on how much other motorwork you are going to have done, if I would decide to get the 404s or not.
