99 Honda Accord LX, F23a1
Replaced head gasket, oil pressure sender and knock sensor and o-rings on water pipe.
As soon as you start the car, it immediately jumps to around 3000rpm. After hitting 3000, it continues to VERY slowly climb. Can't get the car out of park, shifter won't "unlock". Even after accelerating several times, the car continues with high RPM.
It did not do this before replacing head gasket. Help?

 

sounds like you have a leak somewhere... or even worse the motor is not timed right..

check the timing on the motor..
