Default help me find a good exhaust!!!

So. I've been trying to find an RSR Exmag exhaust. But they are so hard to find. Can anyone help me find one? If i can't find one, i might plan on getting the sp2 or the ws2. Question is, i'm running on a test pipe. YES i know it'll sound like crap! and is why i'm asking which would handle better. I really do though prefer the RSR and have been searching around with no luck. so out of the ws2 and sp2, which will sound better knowing i have only a test pipe. Please give me good advice and not lame ones. As i already know no good exhaust sounds good with a test pipe. thus is why i stated, which would sound better. Thanks! But if anyone can help me find the RSR Exmag i'd be very happy!

They are very quiet because they use chambered mufflers.

Had the RSR and its very similar to stock. I wouldn't waste my money on one again since they are so close. I'd get a hytech again in a second.

question for those with the ws2. I read a comment that said that the ws2 hung kind of low. Do you find that true? isn't hytech little louder? I want a quiet exhaust. Good for DD.

i honestly dont think there is much difference between exmags and the worldsports soundwise. main difference is the look. exmags look more stock while worldsports have a polished aftermarket look to them.

but in relation to your question, my buddys ws2 didnt hang too low. when i think hytech im reminded of vibrant for some reason...

I think the WS2 are bit louder than the exmags, but not by much. I've had both and I liked the exmag better because it was very quiet. Yes, i had a test pipe, headers, the whole shebang thing..it was straight through. Its really not loud at all, just a notch above stock.

I'm not sure you are going to want to pay the HyTech price tag, but you will not find a better sounding, and YES "Quiet" exhaust.

Why doesn't the stock exhaust get it done for you if you are daily driving this car? Why are you daily driving the car to begin with?

Vote for the hytech a true 2.5" exhaust. love the subtle stock looking tip, makes power, has a discrete rumble to it.

i dont really dd it. i just wrote dd b/c when i do take it out. i prefer it a bit more quiet. meaning to clarify that on a normal driving day. just wrote dd b/c during non winter season i do drive it say maybe 3 times a week. i never had the stock exhaust. bought car that way. seems they chopped off the stock muffler. and put on an apexi. not sure what kind it is, but is stamped apexi. and its pretty loud. Especially on the hills. prefer something more stock sound. and i dont think or least dont know if they make stock ss exhaust.

sounds pricey though. didn't look it up but hehe hytech tends to be. question for everyone, might be dumb, but just wondering. Will the ls/rs exhausts bolt up to an itr? and is there any difference in vtec and non vtec exhaust? doesn't make sense to me. Thanks

Based on everything you've read, and i've interpreted, you'd be stupid not to find a stock exhaust to put on the car. It sounds great, is super quiet and was designed for the car from the factory. What more could you ask for? You don't have modifications, or hobbies that warrant anything but a stock exhaust. It sounds like you just want to mod the car with an aftermarket exhaust just for the hell of it when you haven't experienced how perfect the car is in its true form. I aintcha poppa, do what you want, but you're making a mistake if you don't put a stock exhaust back on the car.

u didn't read what i post. I wanted a SS exhaust? i dont see any SS stock exhaust. and my car never came with one. LOL so if you read right u would've picked that up! and i'm not stupid. I have plans. I just dont want something loud to the max like you would. thus i picked three. RSR, sp2, and ws2. but ws2 is off my list. the piping isn't SS. if the stock was SS i would have gone stock already. But i dont think they have any SS for it. So dont call me stupid if you didn't read carefully.

Looks like you may be out of luck. I just checked jhpusa.com, inlinefour.com and weaksauce....none of them have it in stock. Ws2 should be fine though, I mean, its not like its going to rust off in a year....probably take just as long as a stock system to rust off.

yea sucks. i've check too and seems their all out of stock. god dam why do all the good stuff get discontinued. sucks to own a car with discontinued stuff. especially when i've never even gotten a chance to see any in stock before it went discontinued. at least in my time.

An 18 year old with a Type R who can't type a complete sentence is asking me not to call him stupid bc i overlooked the one place you typed the letters "ss".

If you ask for advice, don't bitch about it. If you'd like respect, start typing grammatically correct so i/we can understand what the hell you are asking for.

I are done trying to halp you.

Clearly you have a lot of reading and catching up to do on your car. Please do so sooner than later so we don't end up reading that you're adding your car to the graveyard.

my car's not going to the grave yard because i'm not the 18 year old driver you were in ur days. besides. i didn't bitch. Ur the one bitching calling me stupid in the first place. if you wanted to call someone stupid. call urself first for getting mad at such a topic. and this is a forum/blog. People shorten words out. not my fault u didn't know what "SS" meant. Could have just asked before you called someone "stupid" besides i dont need ur help. I dont need people like u calling other people "stupid" for help. U can go help urself. And i didn't specifically ask u for help did i? I asked people as a whole for opinions. Not just U specifically alone. So u can just buzz off. Lmfao..dont assume i'm bitching b/c you got offended for calling me "stupid." Again read what u posted. If u can even read, it has nothing to do with advice. Its a dumb lecture about ur feelings and didn't even help one bit. i suggest people like u shouldn't be on here b/c ur always criticizing people and not actually helping them. hmmm?? so much for the advice. dumbass!
