Default LS Cam Holder Bolts Torque ????

I've searched and gotten mixed results. I also have the Service manual. The manual says 7.2lbf-ft for the B18B (page 6-15) cam holder bolts....I searched and saw 20ft/lbs. Which is it? I've already broken one off!! And have been working for 2hrs trying to extract it!! The LS has the long on the inside and short on the outside holder bolts. I know 20ft/lbs seems right for the GSR, but not the LS.

Does anyone have a definite answer?

7.2lbt/ft would be like "86.4in/lb" since I'm using the inches torque wrench??

6mm cam holder bolts are good 7-8 ft/lbs

BINGO thanks a mil!! There's some misinformation floating around here....some people have said 20ft/lb which applies for the GSR, but they also said **** ould apply to LS, they were wrong....NOW I'm screwed trying to get that damn broken bolt out since I did 20ft/lb. Wish me luck!!

Also, does 86.4 "in/lb" translate to the 7.2 "ft/lb"????

Not trying to be a dong, but why would you search for torque specs if you have the service manual and then go with what you found online versus what's printed in said manual?

I DO, and yes i have a torque wrench. i make sure they're tight. using an oversize rachet to torque these bolts usually just snap em. my hand tighten is pretty tight. i've done it to many cars and yet no problem
