Been doing some body work to my car. Now im ready to start primering it. now there are some metal spots showing. Now should i prime the metal spots with the self ecthing first then shoot with some epoxy over that? Or is epoxy ok to shoot over the body work and exposed metal???


If i were to primer my car with some of that epoxy primer. Would it be ok if it were exposed to the weather and rain?

 

just use primer surfacer if not to much metal is showing but if its a big spot i recommend to use epoxy primer, remeber light coats first, and remember to give it a guide coat hope this helps

A good quallity epoxy primer will work just fine.
