99 Accord headgasket... time and price???
I was asked to do a head gasket on a 99 Accord 4 cyl. Was wondering if anyone knows the flat rate time honda says it takes/pays and what a good price would be to charge....

Call a shop in your area. Give them all the info to the car and they will give you a price. Ask them how much of it is for labor and whats the flat rate they are charging you. Take the flat rate and times it by how much your wanting an hour. Whenever I do side jobs I charge $50 an hour. Remember they pay for there own parts and supplies. It turns out being a really good deal for you and them. gl
ok..according to the books, for warranty time it was 4 hours.
now obviously this is not warranty, so for a VTEC engine the book time is 5.9 and without VTEC is 5.3. Headgasket is $64.47.
All of this is according to AllData.
