I stumbled across this on Craigslist somehow yesterday and it seems like a good find if it's clean and unmolested:

This Original 1998 Integra - Type R (Number 187) is an excellent shape with very low mileage (~50,500). Yes, this authentic Type R is one of the few models that came down from the assemble lines and was given 'hand polishing' by the engineers. This particular Type R is number 187 out of 700 1998 models that were imported directly to North America from Japan. For further information about the Honda Integra Type R series check out the Wikipedia listing Type R Trim Level (1997–2001 excluding 1999) under Honda Integra.
The car runs beautifully and has been maintained during its entire ownership (I am the original owner). In addition, this car has not been modified outside of the original modifications made by the manufacturer that make this Type R so special. The exterior is in great condition but shows normal wear for a car with limited use. Interior is in near mint condition. The asking price is $13,900, however, this price is somewhat negotiable if this beauty can find a good home.
Please, only serious inquiries by Honda Enthusiasts.

That's the hard part now.
They actually posted it up in the Cars FS thread this month. This is the 2nd R posted up that I've pondered cashing out some 401k for just to save it from some tard but I have nowhere to store another one.
What a damn minute, weren't you looking for an R?

Excellent choice, I've considered one myself. I hope somebody normal gets this 98, more than likely it'll fall in the hands of some idiot though.

Such a great deal. Why does it always seem like the good deals pop up when you DON'T have the cash ? . . . When I have finally saved up enough I expect prices will quadruple for no reason LOL
I'd hate a bank loan! The best thing to do is wait, save up the cash, and buy it straight up, took me a year, but now I have no bill in the mail and a great car.
