Just yesterday, I noticed if I floor it @ 1500-2000RPM...the motor hesitates then feels fine. What could it be? Replaced the rotor and that wasn't it. I just bought new plug wires and spark plugs.

HAHAH...got into an argument with the Kragen guy also. I bought Bosch Platinums and go home to find out they are for an ls/gs/rs. Go back and the dude insists a gsr is the same. Doesn't believe me...I tell him the site has a different number..4201 for gsr...4230 for ls....gimme the 4201. After about 10-15mins of arguing...he asks, "so you want the 4201?" I should have thrown a wrench at him.

hmm since you already did the cap, rotor, plugs, wires.. how about the fuel filter, air filter ? and fuel system/fuel injector cleaner? valve adjust, check timing?

damn thats bad service at Kragen.. arguing w/ the customer Lolz.. which store was this? their usually pretty cool w/ me and the guy behind the parts counter drives a fixed up Accord so he's usually cool...

 

Well...replaced the plug wires/spark plugs and the problem is gone. The platinums seem to run really hot....could smell it...is this normal when u switch out spark plugs?

Again how many miles do you have? and what year is it?
it may fall within the emissions warranty extension from Acura and you could get new plugs, wires, rotor, and an oil change for free.

when is the last time you ran carbon cleaner through the motor?

 

no warranty from acura...this is in a civic chassis.
