Hondata is a better system than Crome hands down. You'll have better control of timing with Hondata than you will with Crome.
Crome will probably get you by if you don't mind working around the bugs.
Look at NepTune if you want something as good as Hondata, but want to save a good bit of cash. You'll have full control of timing and you'll be able to watch the final timing values.

No, the s100 is outdated. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The s300 has access to parameters that may be beneficial on a high compression engine. s100 does not, there's a lack of support, and you may have a hard time finding someone who still tunes it.
s300 or NepTune RTP.

NP. If you don't ever want to make corrections yourself you can look into finding a NepTune or eCtune dealer to tune you. That will have all of the corrections you'll need to run smoothly and the price of the license will be less than the S100 cost.

my order of tuning options: (I've used all of them)
6. Uberdata
5. S100
4. Crome
3. S300
2. NepTune or eCtune tied in my book

Ok so I keep hearing everyone mentioning neptune and i just bought the demon board(believe its their best board). Now the question I have is if its the best why is it that two of the most top of line shops titan and CFT wont touch it? I did have a s300 board and had no problems with a tune but it gave out about a month ago and with hondata's crappy customer service i choose neptune.
By the way OP def s300 worth the money but yes very bad service from what I and a local shop have dealt with.

It is very versatile and can adapt to pretty much any setup you have on the car.
