i am thinking buying a 94 prelude V-tec, i am wondering how fast it could go, and the basic things i would need to do it?

 

Hmmm . . . first you might want to find out what you want to do with the car. Basic things are intake, header, and exhaust. But if you ever plan on big power using a turbo the header and exhaust are both a waste. Read through some old posts in the Prelude section, that might help.

 

Check this page out~ http://www.4qd.co.uk/faq/roadspd.html Its a speed calculator. Just fill it out and walla. Of course some cars are governed or hallariously underpowerd (my car) so reaching the max speed in real life may not be possible or without a strong tail wind.

First of all, it's VTEC. How fast can you go... depends how much money you want to spend. I remember seeing a prelude in the 10s. i/h/e/slicks should put you in the low 14s.

A 1994 Prelude VTEC has a top speed in the 140-145mph range bone stock.
