Default Looking for a comfortable shock/spring combo

Returning my track car to street-able. Buddy Club RSDs and 800/700lb springs are all coming off. I've been out of this suspension stuff for far too long...

Looking to spend as little as possible and I want it to be comfortable and reliable. If I can buy a kit, that'd be a great too; I'd rather not deal with coilovers and/or a separate shock and spring solution, but will if that's my best bet.

Thoughts on Eibach Pro Kit?
Anyone happen to have pics of them on a 92-95 Civic?

I'm done with poorly made Japanese crap...
Eibach, Bilstein, Koni, KYB, and maybe Tokico are all I'd go with.

What's wrong with a fine set of coilovers?
It's possible to spend the same amount as a good spring/shock setup IMO.

I almost bought that Eibach kit, I have never used their shocks but we all know the quality of their springs. I would look at Koni yellows with those H&R's if you don't need height adjust. Progress if you need coilovers price is nice and they ride pretty good.

im using the Godspeed RS with adjustable dampening, adjustable shock travel, and adjustable height. Feels like the factory shocks if you prefer.

thats no different than any other cheap coilover. Some sort of spring with a somewhat soft rate is what your looking for. illumina or AGX shocks or Koni yellows if you have the bank. I have illuminas and they are pretty nice. The ride is a little bouncy from the springs they are around a 320/225 rate but not terrible. Handling is great even set on "1" on the illuminas. I wanna put them to 5 and see what she does

Bouncy is caused by an underdamped suspension, which means that the shocks can't/aren't sufficiently controlling the springs.

This should not be the case with Illuminas. Turn up the shock until it stops being bouncy, and leave it at the softest setting that doesn't bounce.

5 will probably be over damped, and result in a harsh ride. However, no real harm in trying it and seeing if you like it.
