hey everyone i am thinking of getting this s2000 but its an auction and it say the car dosent start tell me what you think and if you have any of the parts that i would need to fix it!pm me if you have parts!

as you can see it has a couple of mods!like!:
after market muffler
you can see the speakers in the back of headrest
aem v2 air intake

 

that should buff right out

 

I think that is gonna be a lot more work then it looks like...

Depends on how much you get it for, then do the math to see how much more it would cost to fix it up, sounds like a headache, but if you don't care, have the time and patience, I say go for it, other than that, I'd spend the cash just to get a better one than that....

okay so the auction is on the first i am going to bid 3000 and hopefully i get it parts and labor maybe 1500 or less! and i have alot of time if i get it it going to be dumped and on white wheels whith a hardtop and turbo kit!

Ill try to find a pic of mine from when I slid on black ice going 5mph into some ones bumper, mine was far less worse. I bent the hood, lip, bumper guard, both fenders and needed a few other things replaced and my insurance company paid $6,7000 for all the work. This thing needs, hood, bumper guard, bumper, fenders, air bags, radiator, AC parts and maybe new head lights. I'm sure I could find a lot more wrong with it in person.

I don't know if its just me but the rear passenger side wheel looks bend inward.

Dont buy a turbo kit, make your own...

 

lol dude... thats like 5 rgand worth of repairs right there... look at the radiator support its ****ed! both airbags.... a whole new front end.. frame damage.

 

Yeah you're gonna have to pull the frame some. At the minimum pull the frame horn out, looks like it's probably crushed at least 5-6in.

 

Oh and if it's a legit shop you're taking it to they won't touch the airbags unless they're brand new oem sealed in the box. It's a liability to them if they're not new, so that's $2000+ for both sides including the srs control unit.

 

airbags deployed just seing that to me its alot of money to fix it if the airbags wouldnt be deployed it would be worth 3000$......but i wouldnt buy it

 

Don't do it, You can easily get an AP1 with that many miles on it for 10grand and under.
I have seen some for 7grand with 60k miles plus.

my dad is an mechanic so it wont be that expensive to get everything back together

 

Frame damage? No thanks...but if you do get it let us know how the repairs go and how much you actually end up spending.

 

as you can see in the right side where then engine bay is shown it looks like it is bent in a little but ya i will keep everyone updated

 

Did you figure in the price to paint the whole front end and blend the sides?
And don't forget how hard it will be to ever resell with ACCIDENT on the title history.

 

these prices are with paint and plus i think i can resell for atleast 8000 or 9000 with some more money i put in the car

 

How about the air bag? Do you know how much it is to replace that? And are you 100% positive that this is all cosmetics?
