Im planning to get an 09 Accord coupe EXLV6 with active noise cancellation. I've been told that becuz of that system, installing an amp wiill cause low frequency sounds to come thru the sub woofer. Apparently the mic pics up the sound and sends noice cancellation signals to the aftermarket audio system. Has ANYONE heard of this problem and what the fix might be??? Buying the car depends on it since I have a VG aftermarket system and the "premium audio" standard with the car SUX!!

 

NOBODY HAS INSTALLED A COMPLETE AFTERMARKET SOUND SYSTEM IN A GEN 8 ACCORD WITH ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION????

 

Use a JL clean sweep! they are your best option. I have a 4 channel and a mono block amp sounds amazing.

 

the problem youre describing sounds more like feedback due to the oem sub picking up the sound of the added sub. kinda like a mic squeal when its too close to the speaker. this can be solved by disconnecting the oem sub.

a normal loc should be fine to use.

 

I agree, the JL Cleansweep is the way to go.

 

you can disable the ANC.....but yea cleansweep is the way to go..

 

clean sweep is your best way to go buddy or you could remove the rear sub and place an 8inch mid in there
