Default Aftermarket Steering Wheel/Cruise Control Help!

Okay so heres the deal, i have a '98 gsr. Right now i just have the stock steering wheel on my car. I already have a personal wheel with quick release im just waiting to get a hub to install it on the car. But my question is, i would still like to retain my cruise control because i use it a lot. Is there any way that i could take the wires that run to the buttons on the factory wheel and extend them if need and wire buttons onto them and place someone inside the car to be able to use as my accel/decel & set buttons for cruise control?

Has anyone done this before with any model integra? If so could you please post pictures of where you mounted the buttons and how you did it. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance everyone

This is not the same exact thing you're trying to do but it should contain more than enough information. And yes, your Integra's cruise is the same as the Civic's.
