I have a Black 97 civic ex coupe. Im trying to find suggestions on what to do with my taillights. I DO NOT want alteezas or euros because everyone has them and i hate them so i was looking for any other suggestions like maybe all clear but i donno how that would look with the blak car. what abou the ones that are half white o bottom and half red on top; how would go about doin them???? Any oter suggestions are welcome
search!!!!! I see this posted alot.
But, being a nice guy I will tell you
96-98 civics come with red/white/amber
99-00 civics come with the good looking red/white
all 96-00 civic coupes can share tail lights, so just find some 99-00 tails and its a easy bolt in affair

Damn! That's sweet! Hope those are superbright LED's though.. There are some old HotRods around here with that type of LED tail light, and you can barely see them in the sun.... But looks like you're doing a good job! Should look awesome when it's done.. Post pics when it is!
But to the guy with the '97... I have a '98, and I hated the yellow part on my tails... So, like everyone else in this damn area, put Altezza's on for a short time. Then I woke up, and realized I hated them too, and swapped them with my friend with a '99, and put in his red/clears... He, in turn, used Testors Transparent Candy Apple Red paint and painted the Altezzas, and they look pretty damn good now.... I did the same thing with the tails on my girlfriend's '94, and if done correctly, with 4-5 light coats, you can't even tell they were yellow. If you do something like that, don't forget to mask off your reverse lights, because the car won't pass inspection without a clear lense on your backup lights....
