u flashing any codes?

edit: check for spark, pull a plug out and ground the bottom of it and watch for spark, if you're getting spark its gotta be something with the fuel.
are the plugs wet? dry?

no codes, and i can't check for spark by myself unless someone knows a secret. i didn't pull the plugs, didn't want to until i check for sparl. is there anyway to check without someone sitting in the car cranking it while you touch the wire to a ground

also when you check the spark you can just take the end of the plug from the dizzy and hold it close to where it plugs in and see if a spark jumps from there.

hope this helps

Nuts. That sucks big time. I'm guessing it worked just fine the day before, right?

What exactly does it do when you put the key in, and try to start it? Any clicking at all?

Who knows, maybe you just left the lights on or something??? Or perhaps a ground came loose? Maybe a wire unplugged out of the starter(happened to me one time )?

Good luck!

yep no problems at all, that would atleast help me a little. when i put the key in and turn it everything comes on like normal. radio, guage cluster all that. i try to crank it and it cranks it just won't catch. if it was a dead battery it would click, its not clicking. its trying to start.

Sounds like the coil. If you just replaced the ignitor and you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key then about all that leaves is the coil.

Since you will have them off anyway, check the cap and rotor for wear.

Your distributor won't always act up before it takes a ****..... usually it does, but not all the time. I went through 2 of them and one time it just went apeshit and died. The other time I could tell it was gonna happen...... either way, a tune-up can't be bad for the smurf. If it's not the dizzy, the main relay could be the source....
