So pretty much all the bolts are stripped on my head where the exhaust manifold bolts onto so i'm going thhe route of helicoiling. The motor is a b18c5(usdm ITR).


My question is what the size and thread pitch of the bolts are? i've done some research and found some information, but can't find anything on the actual specs of the bolts. i beleive they're m8x1.25, but saw somewhere that someone said that they were m10x1.25. so i just want to make sure before i go ahead and order the kit on what the bolt specs are.

Maybe order an extra bolt from the dealer and measure/gauge it? You'll probably need it anyway.

 

i dont remember.. they should be the same as ANY studs on the b/d series.. find a friend with a teg or civic and measure theirs.. got to the junk yard and find one there.. lol..

 

I can check tonight when I get home. I have some OEM locking nuts in my tool case. I'll just measure those.

EDIT: They would have to be 8x1.25....because listed on the parts sheet is an "8x37" stud and the bolts are listed as "8x25" bolts.
