Some dude from ohiohondas.com has a b18a1 still in car. head has a bent valve. has 230k. full swap with a good trans hes including. thinking of rebuilding head or buying a better one.

his price is 300$ or my laptop dell 600m + 100$ cash. dont need laptop cuz i got a desktop. should i go for it or too much miles? not looking to fully rebuild it or else id be piecing a swap together. its going in a hx ek

really depends if you have the money to spare, i guess im a little more biased and would say to just keep the laptop. but if its one of those fun projects to do and some extra elbow grease to throw in, id say go for it

 

At 230k its probably going to need a rebuild. It probably needs rings and a bunch of other things he isn't telling you.....


I would pass on this one, don't rush it deals come along all the time.
