Icon2 97 integra runs great cold.. bad warm

I have a 97 integra gs. It runs great when first started. but after it gets to normal operating temp it cuts out/ miss fires, bogs down etc. If I shut it off and try to restart it immediately it won't start and back fires like mad as I try starting it. After it has sat and went cold it starts. this past summer it got a small hole in the top of the radiator. I found that by allowing the antifreeze to remain a little low It wouldn't "steam" and never over heated. I read some where when I started having this problem to make sure the antifreeze was topped off. I did this and I thought at first that it worked. but then I went out in it yesterday and I'm back to square one. I thought maybe the fluid was low again but wasn't. Suggestions/Help?

Update.. the check engine light had come on while I was trying to get it started. I had it checked today. it had four codes, number 1 cylinder misfire, cylinder 2 misfire, cylinder 3, cylinder 4. nothing more then that. It backfires when it's not wanting to start after running it then shutting off or if it stalls.
I erased the codes and they've not came back on, yet the car continues to run like crap when at normal run temp.

I'm guessing there should be a check engine light. If there is, just run the codes and you'll know what's wrong.
