Default Garrett Internals in Ebay turbo

Hey, people have told me that if i rebuild my ebay turbo with garrett internals will it be more reliable? Is this a good idea? If so what kind of rebuild kit will i need for a .50 t3/t4 turbo?

yes. why dont you give it to a local shop that rebuilds turbo's if there is one around you or send it out for a rebuild. if you take the turbo apart it is going to need balanced.

I believe thats a myth. The internals from a garrett turbo do not fit a Chinese Knock off. Turbo have spec and clearances that need to be followed.

the $$$ part is the internals so why do you just buy a genuine unit to begin with?

down here rebuilding a t3/t4 cost almost the same as buying a new genuine 1

i dont kno if all ebay turbos can use garrett internals but iv,e rebuilt a ebay turbo after it fell apart 1 month in

if u mark it exactly how u took it apart with sharpie it will b close 2 balance

i would just buy a new chra

Blaast performance would possibly do it. Blouch will simply send it back to you untouched. They will not rebuild an Ebay XS power turbo with Garrett internals.

See ive already got a brand new ebay turbo from my buddy for free. I was wanting to replace the internals because i dont really want to trust ebay internals. I was wanting to know the price for just the parts so i can weigh my options.

Anyone know the price just for a garrett rebuild kit? And how do i know which one to get? Thanks

You send it to someone willing to do it, knows what they're doing and can tell you if the CHRA has the right measurements for a substitute.
