Should I buy a .48/.43 T3 Turbo for a H23a?
I need this answered fairly quick. I can get a good deal on two .48/.43 T3 Turbos with an intercooler and was wonder if I should?
I don't know much (or anything) at all about turbos yet, always figured I'd do something eventually. If I get them the plan is to probably get another engine and build a turbo set up then drop it in once it's finished. Right now I've got an H23a.
What do you guys think?

Think FIRST what you want to do with the car, and if you have the resources and knowledge to put a "Saab" turbo into the car. Just because you get something for "free" doesn't mean it won't cost LESS to utilize a setup for it. It may be more trouble than its worth it.
You need to understand about turbochargers and their systems first before "jumping" onto that opportunity.

I had a .48/.42 T3 from a LeBaron and it was tiny on the cold side. Get them if they're cheap, maybe you could make a twin turbo setup.
A T3/T4 works good on a B series, just an idea.

As TheShodan already asked, what are your plans for the car/setup? That would be the determining factor...just because you have a turbo, doesn't mean it is worthwhile to use it
