i have a wha i think is a really good deal on a t3 turbo ( $100 !!).. my question is is a t3 turbo a good turbo to run on a stock b18a1 for now.. my plans are buying this turbo 4 the time being and building the motor.. then upgrading it.. my goal is to have a 450 whp hatch and i donno if this turbo is gonna make those numbers

nope your gonna need a bigger turbo for that. I think t3 turbos are good for around mid 300's or so. I would get something bigger if your aiming for that much. At least a big t3/t4

a big t3/t4: 57 trim. 60 trim, 60-1 will get you to the mid 400's. the t3's will max out in the 300-320 hp range.

but never mind the horsepower goals.. do u think this turbo will b good 2 run in the mean time.. i was planning on swapping 4 a t3/t4 but later on after the bottom end is built. im probably only going to use the turbo for 7- 8 lbs since the motor is still stock.. reason y im asking about it is becuase its only 100$

I got a t3/t043 60 trim .63ar and I'm planning on hitting over 400whp on race gas I would def get at least an sc61 or better for 450whp. A lot of head work and cams are a must for that power output
