Budget Racer Weekend.
Just wanted to share what I did with my weekend. First, got the HD Spec race lip mounted.

Painted my headlight housing semi-gloss black.

Leather steering wheel wrap(OEM)

Broadway mirror from Brookstone eliminates all blind spots.

Spent about $35 total all weekend which included a fill up.

rookie2nr: The lights perform the same as before they were painted. As long as you do not paint the dome that reflects the light, you will be fine. I taped that part carefully. It looks a lot better at night, the light is concentrated in the housing instead of being reflected everywhere by the chrome.
blkteg96: I got the wrap about a month ago at http://www.hondaaccessories.com for like $23 shipped. It was a hella deal but I don't know if it's still going on. There was a big thread in the Civic Forum about it and I got one before they ran out. It says that it's for 99-00 Civics only but it works on 92-95 civics as well.

Can you tell us the process of how you painted those headlamps because I really like how yours came out and I would like to try it on my JDM headlamps. So if you can tell me the process that would be very helpful. Thanks.
Dynamix: The headlights were fairly easy. Here are the steps:
a. Put in oven for 10 mins. @ 250 degrees
b. Seal becomes maleable and with gloves, pull the glass off.
c. Paint housing EXCEPT for the dome...that should be common sense.
d. Let dry and put desired number of coats. I used 3 coats.
e. I bought a $2 tube of non-hardening silicone sealant and placed a small amount on the glass.
f. Bake again for 8-10 mins. @ 250 degrees and firmly press glass back on housing. Sealant will harden upon drying.\

I got the Broadway mirror from Brookstone for about $20 and it's definitely bigger than the stock one. It looks big but I love the fact that it eliminates all blind spots.
