Default Budget Racer Weekend.

Just wanted to share what I did with my weekend. First, got the HD Spec race lip mounted.

Painted my headlight housing semi-gloss black.

Leather steering wheel wrap(OEM)

Broadway mirror from Brookstone eliminates all blind spots.

Spent about $35 total all weekend which included a fill up.

Damn. That lip looks surprisingly sweet. Not bad.

Thanks Mojo=jojo. I was surprised at the outcome. I actually like it over my 00 Si lip that I have on my spare bumper.

fakemike: I just put the headlights in the oven for about 10 mins. on 250 degrees. The adhesive will soften and you can pull the glass off....make sure you have mits or gloves before you touch that scalding glass. To put them back together, just put them back in the oven for about the same time, press together and hold until it cools. For added leak proof, I went and bought a $2 silicone non-hardening sealer.

How exactly did you do it? I've never quite understand how you guys that are sporting the HD lip make it look so flush and nice.

DOHCtorTHRUST: Pics work fine for me.

Mojo-jojo: The gardening edger has one side rounded off and the other side is like wiper blade design. I went ahead and cut the wiper blade side off carefully and keeping it as straight as possible. I went ahead and cut a length longer than the bumper. I used 3M double sided tape and 3 screws(one on each end and one in the middle). I lined up the lip right where the paint stopped on the bottom of my bumper and carfully pressed the lip on. I will be putting a rear lip too, I'll post pics.

Note: Clean the bumper good and use rubbing alcohol right before you apply the lip, this enables the tape to work to it's fullest.
