I was just interested to see how many of you guys out there (that live in the US) have JDM ITRs. If you could list how many kms are on it and if it's registered or not. Pics are appreciated too Thanks.

 

also list your address, times you usually leave your car outside and what type of security you have

 

you forgot where they work and their license plate number as well...

 

Dont forget to leave the keys in the ignition too, heck, have the car running and ready to be driven off while your at it.

 

Never understood the point of a JDM ITR in north america. RHD is pretty useless, plus the almost exact same car could be purchased on this continent in a friendlier configuration.

A 4-door ITR or 98-00 CTR would be a cool import as we never had those, but still--RHD is completely out-of-place in a country setup for a LHD car.

 

Wow . . . bring the hate. I just thought it would be interesting how many members actually have them. I just always see a few random ones on here time to time, and was wondering how many are actually out there. I'm not arguing that a JDM is a good idea in the US, or anything like that. I understand theft is always a huge concern, but we don't need to FREAK out. If my thread is asking SO much, we better have the mods take down the cars for sale thread. It shows PICTURES of ITRs, includes MILEAGE, and title/REGISTRATION status. . Better put your ITRs in a time capsule and cement it in. That will finally defeat the thieves!!

 

Mike, while this may have been of interest to you, this site doesn't reach close the audience you would need to obtain any sort of accurate info. If the title was "JDM ITR Honda-Tech roll call" i think you could some solid results, but there are so many other forums these days that people post in.

I was just kidding with my post earlier...was just following everyone..haha. Anyway, where I'm from, upper midwest I've only seen and heard of 1 JDM ITR...I'm sure there's more, but this one I've actually seen. It was champ white.

actually im currently putting a b16 in it just to drive for now since i sold my midori hatch and sc300 daily drivers. been driving my brothers element for a few months since he borrowed some money. gonna sell the element once the db8-R is running with the b16 and begin getting the k20 swap and all parts together and installed before EXPO 10

My buddy has a '98 MR JDM ITRx. Not sure of the mileage, he isn't too active in the ITR forum.

My friends brother has a '98 DC2 with a USDM RSX Type-S swap in it and he can't register it...it's basically garage clutter. Minty CW paint though.

come to EXPO we need more db8-Rs so we can have our own group and not be mixed up with those guys who only have 2 doors.
