Car Starter Bypass
Hi All,
I have a 2004 Honda Civic SI. I'm looking to install a 2way car starter, the wonderful people over at future shop tell me I need to purchase a bypass because my car "definitely" has a factory immobilizer in it.
They didn't look at my car, but guarantee it's in there. I'm not the savviest car guy by any means, and really don't what i'd be looking for. Can anyone confirm that a 2004 honda civic si definitely has a factory installed immobilizer?

Do not disable the immobilizer. It is essential for vehicle security. The older model Civic Si's were quite simple to steal (and thereby are coveted by thieves). The immobilizer adds some security. Sure there are ways around anything but that's the difference between a pro thief and an amateur.
