What means DRL light in dash???

Hi I have a question what means the DRL light in honda civic 2006 and how to turn it off??PLease help!!!!!

I have same issue with DRL. I replaced the day light bulb but the DRL indicator still on and the high beam on right side doesn't work. Anyone knows how the relay that controls DRL look like? And how to replace it?
