A brand new rear ITR sway is about $70, so $90 for both is a good deal if you've got an LS/GS/SE and not a GS-R, because the ITR front sway is the same as the GS-R front sway.

Only $70? I thought they were more..hmm that still a decent deal then, since they are 24mm. They are huge compared to the stock ones.

USDM ITR rear sway bar is 22mm. I wouldn't even put the front one on. The rear one you will need either a bsq, beaks or asr install kit.

USDM rear sway is 22 mm, GS-R rear sway is smaller.

LS/GS/SE front sway is smaller than GS-R/ITR front sway, which are the same.

Might as well install the front, as it will still tighten things up a bit if you've got an LS.

There are tons of threads on how to install w/o a asr subframe or anything. I'm pretty sure the 00-01 ITR were 24mm front and rear. The earlier ones were 22mm. I do plan on installing both as it would make an improvement with both. My car is originally a rs, so with these the handling should dramatically improve.

If you install the rear without a kit, you will have a torn subframe and a totaled car.
JDM ITR was 24mm.
USDM ITR was 22mm.

The rear install doesn't include a subframe, so will it tear my suspension up? like the person before you commented?

Not suspension, but the subframe that the suspension mounts to. This is actually worse than damaging the suspension, since welding is required to install a replacement.

Basically, the ITR was reinforced in the rear subframe compared to the other Integras (other places too, but that's another topic). Installing the larger ITR rear ARB without some form of support can cause the additional stress to tear the metal (or so they say, no personal experience).

All I know for sure, is that there is plenty of talk about damaged subframes, and I installed a Comptech brace with my 24mm ARB.

whats the cheapest brace around that I could buy for it, I didn't intend on needing a brace as al lthe DIY on isntalling a ITR sway bar doesn't usually include one.

The cheapest subframe reinforcement kit is the bsq kit. The next cheapest is the beaks kit, which is the one I went with 5 years ago. Then there is the asr which is significantly more expensive, but also allows you to run a tie bar if you want.

There are lots of people on this forum that have experienced subframe tear out and have posted pics. That's why I got a reinforcement kit.
