Had piston pins replace, now this.......
I had Ls pstons put on my Pr3 rods at a machine shop. I noticed when installing them that one rod has been flip around. This means the instead of the bearing running the way it used to, it is now going the opposite direction. The rod bearings are being reused and are in perfect visual condition.
Miles on crank & rods/bearings are less than 25k. This is also a b16a crank.
Since there are no oil holes in bearings, or oil holes in the rod itself, will I be ok running it????
checked all rod bearing clearances and are in spec.

Yeah I would agree with that. Although in theory on a Honda it shouldn't matter there are some problems that occur with that on other engines. Some conn rods have an oil squirt hole drilled on one side of the rod that needs to be pointed in the right direction. Some bearings are offset in the rod to clear the fillet on the crankshaft (mostly V engines).
It ends up being sloppy workmanship. If the machinist did this, who knows what else he did wrong?
