what's the CR on a 95 JDM H22a1

10.1:1 or 10.6:1 ... i've heard many different views so i'm trying to get a final answer

the JDM is just H22A. H22A1 is USDM. JDM has 10.6:1, US has 10.0:1.

got it ... will 10.6:1 be a lot higher for a turbo compared to the 10.0:1 ?

tuning will just be more difficult since you have less room for error.

get a thick headgasket if you want to go turbo on a jdm motor

i'll prolly end up rebuilding the whole thing at one point ... but i wanna run say 7 PSI intercooled with a standalone till i do blow it ...

u don't need a standalone to run 7 psi. that thing won't blow at only 7 psi either unless u don't put any fuel in it.
