I have an 06 EX and wanted to bypass the e-brake switch thing on it so i don't have to put the brake on to watch my dvds i'm sure some one has done this im just looking for something simple to get this to work

 

pretty simple, just hook the ground up to a switch, then ground the switch, then when you want to watch movies on the fly, which by the way isn't safe OR legal, just flip the switch back and forth until the screen that tells you that you need the ground hooked up goes away and the movie's shall begin.

that works, but on some units you don't even need the switch.

 

well i put a dvd head unit in my car. just splice the switch into the ground....and your done. all the ebrake line does is ground out once the ebrake is engaged. so just cut the two solder the two leads for the ground and swith together, solder those to the ground and heatshrink......then enjoy your movies rollin down the road.....be advised this is illeagle

 

that works in my civic with the pioneer avic-d3, but I had to put a toggle switch on my integra, with the pioneer avh-p3100 HU.
