Nylon Fuel Pressure Line leak, alternative to replacement?!?
Ok so last night I attempted to start my 1996 integra for the first time after its build. However; I quickly found a few simple problems but then came accross a terrible gas leak.
The Fuel Pressure Line (at the fuel pump) that is nylon has a plastic clip at the end. There is an o-ring inside of the housing to seal the gas... here is the part that is bad.

Now I just looked online and found that Acura doesnt offer this peice by its self, insted you have to purchase the whole line. NUMBER 21

Does anyone have a better idea of fixing this problem insted of spending 60 bucks on a 10$ line?

A good automotive parts store should have a catalog of fittings. I always order mine through napa auto parts and its in one of there universal books for brake fittings, fuel, and air conditioning ect.
you shouldn't have too much trouble finding that.

lmao I took the fitting to both advance, autozone, and napa. Napa had an idea of what i needed it for, Advance and Autozone is a joke...
Napa didnt have it 5/16ths to 5/16ths straight but in an elbow. Said the book didnt show a straight...

I order them all the time from napa so i am not sure why there wouldn't be a straight in the catalog? I know the customer service can such at the parts stores but maybe have a look at the catalog yourself or try another local store.
I am in canada but that shouldn't really matter.

i dont have the part number, but i am about 99% sure aeromotive/earls has the quick disconnect fittings. i know we have used them on the gt500's.

I looked at summit and didnt see anything for OEM...
Napa said they was going to call and see about getting the 5/16th straight tomorrow. I might try the 90 degree and see if I can make it work.

This is about the only way out if you can't get one locally. I think this is who I bought 2 from, mainly for the pumps, but got the whole deal. You'd want to ask them for it specifically. They may even sell just that part if you ask.

thanks i'll save the seller and if I come up short on the fitting today I will see if they have the the whole line available...
I want to close the thread by saying the link provided to ebay had a seller willing to seel a good fuel pump hosing and the nylon hose for about 30 bucks shipped...
For those searching with similar problems in the nylon quick connect, no one makes a replacement (that I can find) to replace it. OEM is the way to go.
