just installed a simota sri on my civic esi. i notice that once the airconditioner compressor is on, the nice whizzing sound changes to a loud hiss. someone told me that this is a common occurence for d16z6 engines. i have heard the same installation on a civic ek, and the noise it makes with the compressor on is a whole lot quieter than mine.

i am wondering if i change the filter at the end, since this is the one that is producing the noise, will it make a difference?

i have gotten used to it though, but am just curious as to the other possibilities.
