How's the trunk space guys? Has anyone been able to fit 2 10s in the there and still be able to fit a golf bag or something in there?

2 10s and a golf bag might be pushing it. Just put 1 10 mounted where the jack and tools are then you'll be able to retain all of your trunk space for a golf bag.

Alright, thanks for the information. I'm trying to learn more about the S2k before I buy one.

I have a 10" sub mounted on the side. When I do road trips I still get all my stuff including a tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, grill and folding chairs in the trunk.

Hey, I just noticed I went over 1,000 posts

Back in the day, your post count would have been reset for boasting about it.

Not really an oxymoron. The S2000 has a decent amount of trunk space. 5.5 cubic feet. Enough for groceries for one person (and I eat like 50% of my body weight per day or something). Enough for trips for you and another person. You can't put like...luggage in it...but if you pack 2 duffel bags full of stuff, you'd be fine.

2 10s and a golf bag might be an issue:

1.) There's not enough room
2.) You're going to make someone mad when you're bumping Snoop Dogg on their backswing at the country club.

Depends how you mount them as well, if it's in the tool well area it should be fine. Personally I would mount a single 10 or 12 in the tool well along with good speakers in the cabin. If you really NEED the base, you can always mount subs in the passenger footwell since it's so roomy there.

i have one ten in the area where the jack should be and i feel like even tho it doesnt take up that much room it still cuts my usable area in half because you cant really set heavy crap on top of a sub. also unless you want to be bumping some the baddest beats on the block or something one ten is more than enough to fill the small cabin of our cars with sound... just my 2cents

Keep in mind that the S2000 is pretty different than a Civic/Integra. Two 10" woofers might be overkill. The entire trunk is basically open to the back of the front seats.

I have 1 12"JLW0 with a JL 200 watt amp and i fit my ping hoofer bag in there just fine... sometimes if i dont put the bag in just right ill have to take out my driver and put it in the trunk separately...

ohh and theres no need for 2-10's... 1-12 does the job just fine...

I somehow manage to fit grocerys in mine, its honestly not that small

EDIT: if you mounted the subs in the pit your golf bag should fit sideways in there.

^^ a lot of people mount the amp in the space where there used to be a spare tire.

Sheet, I can barely fit my golf bag in there already. I have to take the driver and the 3 wood to make it fit.

8's keep the bass nice and tight, but tend to be lighter on the volume than 12's In a bigger car, i'd go 12's for sure..
