Default Finally put carpet in my car!

Ok, so I was tired of being cold and hearing rocks hitting the bottom of my car so I decided to get some new carpet for my car. The reason I took it out in the first place was because the car was leaking and left the carpet NASTY. I've been rolling with no carpet since I got the car, I took it out the same day I got it. I've since fixed all the seals so I decided to get new carpet...

This is the carpet I got from a local junkyard for $10. No rips, tears, burns, or anything. Just abunch of dog hair or something. Nothing a good vacuum can't fix! So after 20 minutes of vacuuming thats what it looked like.

Stripped the seats out and center console.

Removed the door sills.

Figured it would be good to clean underneath them. Its nice to see some shiny paint!

Cleaned the plastic too. The bottom one is clean if you can tell a difference.

Almost forgot to take out the footrest! Its out of a CRX btw.

Took these brackets out to make it easier to put the carpet it.

Started to position it in there, which is a PITA!

Finally got it in there the best I could. The carpet is from an automatic so it fits wierd around the center console area, had to trim it a little, no big deal. Also its wierd looking around the upper passenger footwell because of the wires from the wire tuck. Also no big deal, you can't even notice it.

All finished! Im thouroughly pleased by how it turned out. I think it looks a million times better inside the car. I took it for a drive and its super quiet inside the car compared to before. The stereo sounds awesome too.

Sorry for the darkness, I was losing light when I was putting everything back it. I'll take pics tomorrow in daylight.

Pic of my car! Sorry for the huge pics and thanks for looking!

Somethings creeping me out big time. In the very last pic, does it look like there's a person sitting in the drivers seat of the Chevy truck? I swear noone was in there when I took the picture and I cant recognize it

That shift boot is for the OEM Civic center console, not for an Integra. Im pretty upset, its a nice password jdm shift boot and it doesnt fit in an Integra console!

J's Racing-style intakes aren't made for EFs because they won't fit around the battery. You have to relocate the battery and use an EG/EK intake.

Haha yeah my little brothers saving money for a B swap as we speak. Those rims are a friends of mines,...im borrowing them until i save enough money to buy tires for my polished fat fives. Trust me, I tired of the whole "rally car" look. The tires on those rims are 195/65R15s. Too big! I had to raise my car a whole 2 inches so they woulded rub the fender wells, and guess what? They still rub!

I put the footrest in myself with self tapping bolts. For some reason my STD civic didnt come with one so i decided to snag one from a CRX at the junkyard. Just pop off the grippy part with a flathead screwdriver, and theres two 10mm bolts holding it on underneath. I did take out the brackets for the center support. There's no way I was going to cut that clean *** carpet just to clear some brackets that were bolted to the floor. I wanted to do it right so I yanked them outta there.
