slow idle

Default slow idle

Hello 1995 civic ex 1.6 vtec it idles under 1000 and if I would put herad lights on or push brake down it'll drop some yet sounds like it is on verge of dying any suggestions?? thank you

Check the grounds, the condition of the plugs and the spark at all four wires. A weak spark is susceptible to system power drains. After that go through the motions. Since the spark isn't quite as strong when accessories are on at idle, any problems decreasing combustion will be more obvious at that time.

thats what I was wondering give it a tune up cap rotor wires plugs I see that advanced auto parts have caps for like 100 high performance are these good or just get a stock one suitable??

Get a regular cap unless you have installed an external ignition coil. The wires are the parts you want to put a little extra money into. Most agree the best are NGK wires available through Summit. They have high quality connectors that last a long time.
