rough idle/ intermittent hesitation
I have a stock 1992 civic LX.
Recently it started running poorly. It seemed like it was missing intermittently and idling rough after warming up.
It was overdue for new plugs. So I put in new NGK G-power plugs.
That helped significantly. It now drives smoother, but still with occasional hesitation. It still idles rough after warming up.
Since the new plugs helped, it makes me think perhaps the problem was weak spark and there's another problem (cap & rotor; wires; coil).
But it also reminds me of another car I had that had problems like this due to crud in the injectors, and would clear up after running Techron or similar injector cleaners through the fuel system.
It isn't throwing any codes.
Any thoughts about what to check next?

I had the same problem with my 98LX... actually has a 96 motor in it but I replaced the cap and rotor and it ran smooth, no hesitation. The plugs and wires helped but the cap&rotor did the trick for me.

The best thing to do is a full tune up only replacing the plugs is kind of silly. Cap, rotor and plug wires are not that much just replace them and see where you stand

Yeah, I'd be willing to bet money that if you actually do a full tune-up, and not just a half-assed plug change, that your car will run better.
