Idle Flux - tried simple tips and tricks??
This issue with my integra motor. my idle was @ 1500 and wouldnt go down at all. If anything it would get up to 2k sometimes, so i changed my IACV with an accord IACV from the junk yard and the idle went lower to about 1k, but then it would fluctuate from 1100 - 1500.
Cleaned my FITv. disassembled and reassembled.
Checked amps to TPS. fine
New Vacuum lines (ALL) except the two hoses that connect to FITv, they look and feel in rather decent condition.
So i have a Pr3 b16 ecu laying around and i just wondered what would happen if i swapped my stock obd 0 integra ls ecu with the b16a pr3 and my idle is at a perfect 1k. However, i run rich with a check engine light (becuase i dont have a vtec solenoid).
And im stuck there still trying to figure out why with my OBD 0 LS ecu that my idle fluctuates from 1k - 1.5k.
And why with my B16a Pr3 ecu that my idle is perfect, just running rich.
I'm wondering is it because the fuels map is entirely different for the b16 that my idle levels out or is it just clearly that I have to replace my old parts with brand new thangs (FITv or IAC)?

Make sure that there are no bubbles in the coolant system. When you cleaned and re-assembled the fitv, did you screw that little plunger all the way back in? make sure the idle screw on the throttle body isn't turned all the way out.
