What parts are these (pics)
Can somebody tell me what these tubes are called. They were broken when I was removing my b18a1.
Dont tell me "I think they are for this, i think they are for that". I need to know 100% because I am buying them soon

Thanks guys.

well, take them with you when you got to the store to buy them.. "i think"that would work.. HAHAHAHAHA..
all jerkiness aside, the one to the far right looks like something on the intake manifold, the one all the way to the left is the tube that goes from the intake manifold to the back of the car "i think", and the middle one is for sure a water hose, more than likely the one that goes from the thermostat housing to the throttle body..
and to be honest, you are just posting hoses, and they could be from anything.. have you even looked at where they MIGHT fit? i mean, they are bent to only fit in one spot.. maybe you should have look and see where they might fit...

I took them to honda and acura, they didnt know what parts they are. they came of a b18a1, and will be put on a b18b1. When I get my engine, ill see where they fit. Thanks.
The middle one is definitely the coolant tubing that goes from the thermo housing to the intake mani, I had to replace it after it sprung a leak in a parking lot once. The one on the right is a fuel line I think, especially since you said it smells like fuel I don't see what else it could be unless some got in the tube during the removal of your motor. I have no clue what the one on the left is though. Goodluck on your search dude
not on the 2 hose to the right.. those look like water hoses, and vac hose cannot take the pressure, heat, or wear and tear of the water rushing through it..
replace those with water hose..
the one on the right, shouldnt smell like gas, as there is no hose that short that moves gas anywhere on the car...

and the one all the way to the left looks like it plugs into the intake manifold
i know this is a different intake manifold (possibly gsr?)but the only hose for fuel that is short at all, is coming off of the fuel pressure regulator

The hose in this pc in the middle with the yellow circle looks like the one in the middle of your pic

if you know where the parts came from on the engine you can get the part numbers here

then there is no guessing at all.

Just looked at my intake manifold. Those hoses in the pic with the color circles are already there. But on the right side of the mani(opposite side where the intake is) there are 2 metal things that stick out and it looks like my hoses fit there. but my hoses are short, i dont know where they would go.
This is very frusturating.

i dont know, dude.. you are going to have to look through a manual.. or if you need new hoses, take those in, and just tell them you need hoses that same shape for that year car.. im sure they will able to narrow it down..
ok.. so, after you looked ALL OVER THE CAR, how many open pipes do you see where a hose would go, and where are they at? help us out.. there is no use replacing those hoses if you can find where they go in the first place.. hahahaha

Im getting my engine in a couple days. b18b1 with everything but the hoses and dizzy. So i will see where my hoses from the b18a1 will fit. I just wanted to know now so I can buy the parts. But I guess i can wait a few more days.
Ill post an update to tell you guys what the hoses were for, peobably some of you are curious

No, the engine is from my friend. It comes with no hoses, wires. Just the engine, starter, alternator, intake mani, headers. And my b18a1 dizzy will fit on the b1 anyways.
When you say you took them to "Honda Acura" are you talking about the dealer? If so that sucks that they didn't want to help you out. They could have easily matched those parts up with the parts catalogue they have in like 2 mins.

as a side note, for DJYoshaBYD, I am wondering what you gain by putting a GSR intake manifold onto an LS engine. It seems that most people who do GSR swaps can't wait to ditch their stock manifold which is why I am curious.
That diagram helped somewhat. Like i said before, Im getting the engine in a couple days, so ill be able to see where they go. Thanks for the link. Now I know the prices

I did just post a link to a dealer catalogue haha. That would will tell you EXACTLY what you need to know. if you look at the following link I think you will find that number 6 in the image is the middle hose in your picture
