Default what is a good price for a virgin p28 ecu...

one of my buddies is doin a b16 swap and is sellin his d series stuff,he told me he will sell
me his ecu..seein i am pretty sure i need one..i wanna buy it for a fair price.
-what is a fair price for that ecu, btw not chipped, stock

75$ is in the good/fair category..Specially non chipped manual p28..I seen non chipped manual p28s go for 150$

You could find cheaper. I got a obd2a p72 for $50.

depends. Junkyards around here will sometimes ask $25, 50, or more.

And B16acivicsedan91... your OBD2A P72 was probably cheap because it was OBD2. It's good for a GSR, but it can't be chipped. I've been trying to sell one for $50 for a while, nobody wants OBD2 around here...

Yeah I kind realized that after I got it. I need to get tuned now that my swap is done so ill need an obd1 p72 now but I need it in the event that I even actually NEED to pass emissions.

lol, ya he's in need of money for his swap to get finished, not rly a buddy
i'd say more just someone i know...anyways if anyone of u kno of a better deal

You can get PO5 and PO6 and other non-vtec ECUs cheap, or if you have one they can be converted to VTEC fairly easily. It's not even as much soldering as chipping the ECU... I got a list of the stuff and I can help you figure out what you need if you have a ECU and PM me...

k, thanks...i'm gonna try to fine a cheap p28 first but i will deff PM if i need
to go that route
