What brands are well made, besides OEM Honda, for parts such as ball joints, control arms, ect.... Does anyone go to Napa to buy their parts? Order online parts such as Moog, or Raybestos?

 

Most nationwide parts stores carry parts made to very similar specifications (OEM replacement specs). Every brand has their duds and some people run into more bad parts at one store than another, forever condemning the store. If you're looking for the best, check out aftermarket stuff first. Even a perfect economy car part is still an economy part.

 

I agree. Moog makes pretty good parts from my experience though....

 

Sankei 555, made in Japan. They likely manufacture many suspension parts as Honda OEM. Quality is very good. We have most of their products at IRP too (www.importrp.com).

haven't had great success with moog parts on my racecar .. don't seem to last at all
now using another brand of ball joints (i think it's "555"), made in japan and they are much better
i get tie rods from the dealer

 

if its just a street car moog carries a lifetime warranty on their parts.
