Default Peicing together a stockish D16a6 have some ?'s

I have just obtained a d16A6 longblock aside from missing the crank pistons and rods its complete....now i have a z6 crank z6 rods and pistons will the combination be any different than the stock a6 what do you guys think im trying to keep it cheap and reliable not really looking for ponies just want my rex to run again.

well if you use the z6 pistons the cr is gonna be different

are the connecting rods any different?

I don't think there is any difference in the length of the rods, no.

you'll lose compression with the z6 pistons though.

The compression with the z6 pistons came out 8.4:1 good turbo compression but not really what I'm looking for at the moment. I guess I'll either get new stock ones or salvage some old a6 pistons I've got lying around

get some dohc zc pistons from the junkyard it will bump your compression up quite a bit =]
