Hi All,
As you know we are getting very close to announcing all the details for E10. We are certain that a event later in the summer will yield better results. Our concern with Aug 23/24 is that it may be a conflict for those still in school.
If you are certain that you will NOT be able to make EXPO bc of those dates conflicting with school please speak up. Keep in mind it may be your first week back, and you could always contact your profs ahead of time to let them know your situation. Often times missing the 1st or 2nd day of class isn't nearly as bad as the last or final days.
We would really appreciate your feedback ASAP.
Unfortunately guys there will always be someone that can't swing the dates. We are in a tough situation this year, and we hope that you all will respect the decision we make collectively based on the variables we are faced with.

Yes, but we don't wish to release that information until we confirm that the dates we have in mind will work for the majority.

Not sure if it will work for me. Students would be back and work will be alot more busy. But I might be able to depends where the expo is held and how long of a drive it is for me.
Jon, I commend you for doing this in a two-phase part. First a thread seeing who would bitch about dates then a second to see who would bitch about location haha. Keep up the good work I'm ready to pay up as soon as you say go.

Obviously we won't ever be able to please everyone, but we work hard ensure the majority can attend. Thanks for those willing to speak up and provide us with legit feedback.
We look forward to seeing an abundance of new faces this year. :-)

Bring Expo to the Westcoast. You will see alot of new faces.
yeah, unfortunately most of them would be enough to make any ITR owner a bit sick to their stomach and worried, laying awake at night wondering if every sound is someone breaking into their car.
west coast? particularly california? no thank you.

I'm not going to get into specifics, but please understand that to hold a track event you must find a significant amount of participants willing to track their cars. I ask that you respect our decision based on the variables we are continually faced to evaluate in order to hold a successful event.
When we have proof that a WEST coast EXPO will be a success, we are all on board for it, unfortunately there is no evidence to suggest that is the case. Sorry, but it is the truth. I don't wish to start an argument in this thread so please don't clutter it with comments in response to this post.
Until then, we look forward to seeing the familar faces who make the trek from the west coast each year. Hopefully some day we'll be able to bring it much closer to them.
Sleep in your car, you worry about it too much getting jacked.
