B16A2 swap into 95 Del Sol Si
hey guys, i have a '95 Del Sol Si with a D16Z6 which im swapping out for B16A2 SiR, Ive been looking through forums and researching like crazy to find some good info and parts, but only got bits and pieces here and there. I'm planning on doing this build at home and i have a budget of around $3K for the engine and any extra parts. I still have a lot of questions so bear with me, any help is appreciated, thanks.
1. Where can I find this engine with everything included like tranny, ecu, etc.? i found a few sights but most are to expensive, im hoping to get it around $2K so i have money for any extra parts that will be needed for the install
2. Will the engine even fit? do i need to cut away or shave anything?
3 Where can i find some good engine mounts? do i just need side and rear mounts?
4. Will i need new sensors and OBD? since the new engine will be OBDII
5 Any other hints, tips, ideas, and/or information?

1. Don't get your heart set on a swap that's absolutely complete. You'd could end up paying a little less if you found some of the less critical parts separately.
2. The motor will fit.
3. There's no need for anything special for motor mounts. If the swap doesn't have it, check local parts yards and ebay. There's the front motor mount in the middle of the timing belt, the tranny mount on the firewall side of where the motor meets the tranny, the mount on top of the tranny, and a stabilizer on the side of the tranny.
4. If the motor, ECU and wiring harness are all OBD2, they will work together fine.
5. Make lists of what you'd need to get separately with each swap you're interested in and buy the one that has the lowest total. Use Hondaautomotiveparts.com as sort of a baseline. More often than you'd think, parts are available brand new at nearly the same price as used. You'll also find everything you need there so there's little worry that there will be some parts you can't find anywhere. A motor you can run tests on before buying is worth more than one you can't. Compression is the most important reading to check when buying a used motor.

The A2 would require a few things. Chek out my thread on the wiring changes:
