NEED HELP FAST
I bought a 95 gsr a week ago with a 2.0 liter block/type r head and trans. The car made 241 whp and was tuned by jeff evans. It just blew up and I am unsure what exactly went wrong. Does anyone know of any reputable shops in western pa that i can bring this to?
To the OP - what do you mean by "seized"? The starter won't turn it over or you can't move it at all when you put a wrench on the crank pulley?
Also, what were you doing when it happened?
Have you pulled the oil pan or the valve cover? If so, what did you see?
Haven't pulled anything yet, car is still sitting in a parking lot I'm trying to figure out where I am going to have it towed. I was driving the car home doing about 30-35 mph, I can't go much faster in the car yet because it has azenis on it and its the winter so all they would do is spin. The car shut down once when i pushed the clutch in while going down a hill, i turned the key and started it again and after maybe thirty seconds it sounded as if i had a really bad valve tap. Then the motor mad cut out again and the starter will not turn it back over. I can't get a wrench to the crank without putting the car on a lift. I'm trying to figure out where to take it so i only have to pay for one tow.
-NOTE: I am waiting on a lug key to put snow tires on, please no comments about that. I just need to know the proper way to diagnose my car and a place I can feel safe taking it too.

I would take it to these guys in a heart beat, met derrek before at a car show he's a really nice guy. I'm in western PA though and i can't afford to tow this bastard that far.
For a basic diagnosis, any decent Honda/Acura shop should be fine. If you have to go through the motor, then you can find a better shop.
