99 gsr vs. eclipse GSX
who will win on a track race. 99 gsr or eclipse gsx.
modifications:
99 gsr - stock like a **** with a 22mm sway bar
eclipse gsx - turbo running on higher boost, z rated tires, lowered suspensions, exhuast
just curious cuz i was riding on an eclipse's *** the other day until the last turn and he lost control. i was surprised i didnt lose control myself. 70mph on a 35 mph zone.

If you can, race one on the downshift. Go from 60 mph and drop that sucker in 2nd, then speedshift into 3rd, and walk him like your pet dog Rex. I've never lost to any type of DSM on the downshift. (GSX or GS-T. Modded or Stock)

Then you definitely havent run into a DSM driver that knows how to shift.
The GSX will smoke you man...and a GSX with bolt-ons, boost controller, etc...sorry dudes, but a GSR with decent bolt-ons wont hang.

GSX will beat the GS-R for sure.
GS-R needs some boost or some internal parts to take on a GSX, and from a stop, we all know that the GSX will launch out of the hole like nobody's business...

it kinda figures that a gsx would whoop on a gsr anyday. for sure it had turbo in it cuz i heard athe blow off valve go off. it was a rolling start. around sum S turns. probably the driver determined the outcome cuz i know i would have lost by a lot.
he fished tail 45 degrees right in front of me and then slowed down to granny speed after he recovered.

Wasnt this guys question on a Track race? I thought he meant "Road Racing"...
Drag racing, yea the Integra is going to get beat, on a road race of course we are talking driver skill, yea the GSX has Grip but it sure does like to plow around like a Front drive buick. I used to own a 99 GSX, hated every second of it unless I was going in a straight line.

Yea from what I hear they do Alright in AutoX, But I guess for me it was just the over all feel of the damn thing, the PS is way to over assisted, the car just felt clunky and sloppy in the turns, even after I had a pretty good suspension setup, it just never felt as nice as my Mr2, or every honda I have ever owned, 95 Prelude, 94 integra, EG, EK coupe, 2 Crx's and one ef hatch.
Man...wassup wit this Dumb question.....A GSX turboed is almost as fast as a Supra MKII. GSX probably hits 14 to high 13's 1/4 mile..GSR mid 15. Unless this guy in the GSX dun no whats he's doing.

or Toyota.
