**Official Cheap Mod's**
Looking through the forum but I could not find a thread that was just for small and cheap modifications.
This is the sole reason for me making the thread, I decided not to make this thread in appearance or into another Category because the Mod's could be just about anything from ITB to CAI. A headlight tint, mirror change, ANYTHING.
I got this idea from vwvortex.com and thought that it was a great idea for anyone who was bored and wanted to try something new and cheap.
Lets keep the price at anything UNDER 100$

Mod name: Integrated Rear Fog lamp (or lamps)
Why the MOD is worth it: For traffic behind you to clearly see you in inclimate rain fog or snow.
Cost: 5 dollars for switch.10 bucks for wire and if you want to get fancy another 10 for loom
Time:About an Hour
Difficulty: Easy if you can wire
DIY:
1. Cut both brake signal wires from your inner tail lights (if you have a 6th gen coupe or sedan ) If you have a hatch you may have to get different bulbs for the lower tail light location below the turnsignals (6th gen)
2.Run wire up to front to your purchased switch or to your existing foglight switch.
3. Enjoy!!
Infact the 6th gen coupes in Europe came with an integrated rear foglamp in the inner taillights depending on what side of the road the country drove on. You can choose to do both if you wish or just the drivers side. Totally up to you. Now you wont have to worry about cutting your bumper for a rear foglight and still be able to enjoy the functionality.
