wtb or borrow 50mm crank pulley tool
why dont you jus raise the drivers side and have the passangers side on the ground have someone sit in the car pressing the brakes while you have your breaker bar trying to break the bolt loose
yea it worked for me when i had to change my timing belt..the only time it didnt work was on my old block but then again not even with the pully tool or high powered impact wrench at my boys shop couldnt break it loose.
Also, it's a 2" hex on the pulley, so you can buy a 1.5" - 1" reducer bushing and 1.5" coupling (steel) from Home depot. Thread the two together, insert the hex end into the pulley and hold on to the coupling with a pipe wrench, etc. then loosen the bolt through the 1" reduction hole.
I have one... I can let you borrow it but you would have to leave me something of value so I can get the tool back from you.. My shop is in south sac. PM me
