2000 integra mirrors on a 2000 ek
do dc mirrors fit on an ek i was lookin at a set today and they look very similar has anybody ever tried this or know anybody that has tried it

the dc mirrors look just like the jdm power folding mirrors
i know i can just go and buy jdm power folding mirrors but i dont have 250 to spend on a complete set and i have the dc mirrors layin around

mirror base is the wrong shape. you can do it, but it wont be 100% and the mount holes dont line up correctly. integras go to a point in the front, civics are more rounded.
but from far away, they almost look normal.

I have the mirrors layin around I guess ima jus have try it out and judgin by the pic u posted and my pic I think that hatch has the ek mirrors not integra mirrors ur hatch has rounded mirrors as u said they should and the integra pic I posted has pointy mirrors

There was a thread on this site pretty recently about this, with close up pics even with some directions. Might have been in the apperance/build section (cant remember.) One thing you have to do, pending on wether you have power mirrors or manual, is you have to drill out a good-sized hole in the door area where the three 8mm nuts for the mirror are. Ill try to find the thread.
hm i think im picky but it looks good in that hatch the other guy posted up top i think ima jus bust out the dremel this week end and hack them up ima try to find that thread

There is no way around the gap, its gunna be there no matter how hard you try (you gotta remember, the mirrors are from a different car.) IMO for how big the gap is (judging from the pics I saw on that thread) I wouldnt do it.
