Default Question about power top and windows.

Is there a way to over ride the windows so they wont go down when you put the top down?

You wouldn't want to do that. The windows go down to let the soft top clear going down/up.

Their is a way, sure. But you would damage the top when lowering it if the windows were up. The windows HAVE to go down about 35% of the way so the soft top frame can bend properly and close.

Little off topic, My brother's girlfriend decided to ride top down cause the sun was out. It is Colorado, there is still snow on the floor, it was probably 40-50 degrees. The plastic rear window shattered

Yes it can be done, but as stated previously it's not recommended. The windows go down for a reason to allow for the softtop to move properly.
